Philips' latest development is Smart Cloud, which means that the installed apps are updated automatically, with no need to root around in an app store yourself. Unfortunately the addition of Smart Cloud icons does confuse the interface a little. The App Gallery function is confusing, too, as it seems like it should be an App Store, but it simply gives an even more limited selection of apps than what's offered by the front page.
The standout apps here are Netflix, Hulu Plus, Vudu, YouTube, and Pandora; Amazon is the main video service missing. While Philips has the obligatory Facebook and Twitter apps, it does lack a Web browser or the handy Skype. If you're a puzzle game fan, though, the free inclusion of Bejeweled 2 should keep you busy for a time.

The advantage: 

The Philips PFL5907 LED TV has impressive picture quality for the price, anchored by relatively deep black levels, good shadow detail, and a natural color palette in most areas.

The Escape Titanium was equipped with a few interesting convenience features. By far, the most interesting of the standard features is the hands-free liftgate.
If you're approaching the rear of the vehicle and your hands are full -- maybe you're carrying bags of groceries, a bulky box, or an angry toddler -- you can open the rear power liftgate by simply kicking a foot under the rear bumper. There's no need to free a hand to fish keys out of your pocket or to pull a handle. This kicking motion also works to close the liftgate in the event that you're taking something bulky out of the Escape and need to lock the vehicle up. The hands-free liftgate works in tandem with the keyless entry system, so you'll need to have the smart-key transponder on your person, say in a pocket, to activate the system, which prevents strangers or passing cats from just kicking your rear hatch open.

The advantage:

 The 2013 Ford Escape Titanium features a variety of convenience features, such as the hands-free liftgate, that make owners' lives easier. Available Active Park Assist steers the car into parallel-parking spots automatically. The 2.0-liter EcoBoost engine delivers good power and efficiency.
The unfavorable:

 The MyFord Touch system, while improved dramatically, still feels slow to respond and slightly cluttered.

The G-Drive Slim could be a little more compact, and it doesn't comes with any software.

This is essential for a mobile computer, especially a MacBook Air, will find the G-Drive Slim a very good companion.

The HTC One X+

The HTC One X+ release date has been set for early October, and the price – likely to be under £500 (around AU$790, US$800) SIM free – looks very palatable indeed, especially when compared to the ridiculous cost of the iPhone 5.
The HTC One X+ is a good, good phone. It builds well on the power of the HTC One X and looks to iron out the bugs with the improved battery life and Android 4.1 on board too.
It's still got the same decent design and upgraded storage to 64GB is more than most will ever need, even with a strong HD video library and too many music tracks.
The display is clear and crisp, and the 4.7-inch Super LCD 2 screen is excellent under the touch as well. 

The Acer's Iconia W700

It will be available on October 26, the Iconia W700 comes in three versions. The 11.6-inch tablet that runs the Windows 8 operating system.Two models both have 64GB of storage, but the $750 version runs on an Intel Core i3 Ivy Bridge processor while the $850 is equipped with an i5 CPU under its hood. The 128GB model, which houses an i3 processor, is estimated to cost between $950 to $1,000.

The IPS 1080p Full HD display has a resolution of 1,920x1080 pixels, text and pictures were rendered crisply and brightly. On the left side, it has a Micro-HDMI output and a USB port.
