The Bose SIE2/SIE2i

Bose is giving another model of earphones that may fit to the need of today's listening demand.

Bose has introduced a couple of sporty in-ear models, the SIE2 and SIE2i, which are basically rugged, sweat-resistant versions of its popular IE2 earphones.
According to Bose, these guys have "acoustic ports positioned to resist sweat and water and are covered with a hydrophobic cloth to keep moisture out while letting sound pass through." Also, the inline remote and microphone included with the step-up SIE2i has "watertight button housings and a hydrophobic acoustic windscreen to reduce the effects of wind noise and moisture." It's also worth mentioning that Bose has teamed up with Reebok to include a "fitness" armband, so you can strap your phone or digital music player to your arm. But since this product hit stores before the release of the iPhone 5, that armband won't work with the latest iPhone and iPod Touch, which have longer bodies, just with earlier iPhone/iPod Touch models and other smaller smartphones and MP3 players.

A U.S. appeals court overturned a preliminary injunction on the sale of Samsung Electronics Co Ltd's Galaxy Nexus smartphone on Thursday, dealing a blow to Apple Inc in a battle against Google Inc's increasingly popular mobile software.
Apple is waging war on several fronts against Google, whose Android software powers many of the Korean giant's devices. In one of the more visible signs of that battle, a high-wattage trial to determine whether Samsung's products infringed on Apple patents ended in August with a sweeping victory for the iPhone maker.
The U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit ruled that the district court in California "abused its discretion in entering an injunction." The appeals court has sent the case back to a lower California court for reconsideration.

By slapping a battery inside a 20-inch touch-screen all-in-one to make the Sony Vaio Tap 20, the company has given birth to a new PC category with great potential in tech-savvy homes.
The unfavorable: 

The touch screen has some frustrating drag, and Sony made a few missteps among some otherwise reasonable sacrifices for portability and price.
The offer: 

A compelling experiment in tablet-desktop hybridization, the Sony Vaio Tap 20 is a great fit for home tech enthusiasts willing to try something new.

The Tap 20 measures 19.75 inches wide, 12.13 inches high, and, at the thickest point of its tapered back panel, 1.5 inches deep. It weighs just under 11.25 pounds.

The 20-inch display makes sense as a way to keep the Tap 20's size and weight down, and in order to manage heat and battery life, Sony chose an ultralow-voltage 1.7GHz Intel Core i5 mobile CPU. The absence of an optical drive is conspicuous, but likely helps keep the Tap 20's thickness in check, and it's not out of keeping with other Windows 8 PCs.
